Introduction
Goyang Special City is located between Seoul and Gaeseong in North Korea. It was a key region in efforts to defend the nation from Japanese invasion and in the Korean War. It is also the area that saw the highest level of public participation in defense. In Goyang, Hyeonchung Exhibition Hall commemorates the valorous sacrifices of the departed souls who defended this land. Through the Memorial History Hall, National Security Education Hall, Circle Cinema, Special Exhibition Hall, and Shooting Experience Hall, the exhibition hall introduces the history and personalities of Goyang's memorials and provides various spaces for hands-on experiences. Also recommended is a trip to Memorial Park in addition to the exhibition hall. In the park are the Goyang Memorial Tower and the Taegeukdan Anti-Communist Relics; why not spend some time paying homage to them?
