Visit Goyang

The Yujin Folk Museum is a cultural space where visitors can learn about and experience the lives of the people of the past. Director Yoo Jin-goo, who taught for 33 years, and Song Ji-yeon, who ran a kindergarten for 27 years, realized that formative experiences in infancy play a crucial role in the maturation process, and thus founded the museum. By displaying folk art related to traditional culture that has been collected over an extended period of time, the significance of preserving tradition is brought to light and has been made easily accessible through a variety of experience spaces. The permanent exhibition exhibits traditional Korean agriculture, houses, weddings, and tools used in daily life. Through detailed commentary, the experience program facilitates a broader understanding of the exhibition.
