Introduction

Former Ilsan Station, completed in 1933, is one of the few places in the middle of Ilsan New Town that documents the Japanese colonial period.
It remained in ruins after the new Ilsan Station opened in 2009, but since 2015 it has been transformed into the Goyang Ilsan Station Exhibition Hall and the Shinsegae Hope Toy Library.
You can learn about the evolution of Ilsan, the origins of the Ilsan Market, and the background of Ilsan Station at Ilsan Station Exhibition Hall.
As an added bonus, visitors can try on a station attendant's uniform and hat and count vintage train tickets while browsing the many mementos on display.
The toy library in the vicinity of Former Ilsan Station provides infants and toddlers with an environment in which they can experience a variety of toys.
Preschoolers under the age of seven can experience a culture of healthy play through toy rental, thereby relieving their parents' financial burden. Ilsan Station is also the location of the Goyang Independence Movement.
