Wondang Traditional Market was established in 1980 and officially registered as a traditional market on July 13, 2005. There are currently 65 retail stores and 27 street vendors selling a variety of goods, including clothing, vegetables, fruits, and fish products. As a result of the 2007 installation of an arcade as part of the traditional market facility modernization project, you can enjoy shopping in a more pleasant environment; however, the lack of parking makes it somewhat inconvenient to use. Since June 1, 2013, Wondang Traditional Market has operated a free delivery center in an effort to address this issue and increase customer convenience. It is a service that delivers purchased items anywhere in Goyang upon request. The price is low compared to large supermarkets, and discounts are offered twice per month. The market is always bustling, with over 1,000 visitors per day.
