Cheonja Chongtong Cannon

The Cheonja Chongtong Cannon was the largest cannon used by the Joseon army, named by size according to the order of the characters "Cheon," "Ji," "Hyeon," and "Hwang" in the Thousand Character Classic. The cannon had a range of up to 900 paces when firing large iron arrows like the "Daejanggunjeon," and it was mainly used to destroy Japanese ships in naval battles.
